Established in 1856, the University of Chicago is a private research university based in the urban center of Chicago, the third most populous city in the United States. Outside of the Ivy League, Chicago is one of America’s top universities, and holds top-ten positions in various national and international rankings.
Beyond the arts and sciences, Chicago has a glowing reputation for its professional schools, including the Pritzker School of Medicine, the Booth School of Business, and the Harris School of Public Policy Studies. University of Chicago alumni are responsible for the development of many academic disciplines, such as sociology, economics, law, and literary criticism. 
The college’s crest sees a phoenix rising from the ashes, a reference to the fire, foreclosure, and demolition of the Old University of Chicago campus, with the current University of Chicago emerging triumphantly in its place in 1890. The old university was founded through a land endowment from the controversial senator Stephen Douglas, a supporter of slavery who authored the Kansas-Nebraska act. By contrast, the new University of Chicago was co-educational and funded through donations from wealthy Chicagoans and the oil magnet John D. Rockefeller.

Established in 1927 as the Roomsch Katholieke Handelshoogeschool (Roman Catholic Business School), Tilburg University has now, nearly a century later, grown into a thriving, medium-sized, multi-disciplinary university specialising in humanities and social sciences. Inspired by a drive towards broad prosperity, Tilburg's continuously works towards improving wellbeing for all through its engagement in themes including mental and preventive healthcare, building inclusive labour market, energy transition, and digitalisation in its education and research efforts. Founded in 1988, Kwansei Gakuin University is a private, nondenominational Christian university in Kansai, Japan. As a comprehensive higher education institution, Kangaku offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees to 25,000 students in more than 80 disciplines across 14 undergraduate and 14 graduate schools. Academic faculties encompass a diverse range of fields, including humanities, sociology, law and politics, economics, business administration, and science and technology etc.
Renowned as one of the top global universities in Japan, Kangaku hosts over 1,400 international students on campus and maintains partnerships with more than 200 universities across 40 countries. The university offers 2 study tracks for incoming exchange students. The Japanese Language Track, conducted entirely in Japanese, is tailored for students who wish to concentrate on their Japanese Language studies. The Modern Japanese Track is designed for students who wish to primarily seek to learn about Japan via English-taught courses through a range of subjects offered by the university's faculties. Mandatory courses are offered for each track to support students in achieving their academic goals during exchange.

With two campuses in Fredericton and Saint John, UNB houses more than 10,000 students from over 100 countries around the globe. The University provides students with a dynamic learning environment, and boasts a strong sense of community on campus. Its commitment to personalised education, coupled with state-of-the-art facilities, makes UNB a hub for intellectual growth and professional development.
UNB offers a comprehensive array of courses, with more than 75 undergraduate and graduate programs across 14 faculties, including Arts, Computer Sciences, Education, Engineering, Law, Management, Science etc. The University is particularly known its engineering programme, being the first to offer degrees in the discipline in Canada.

With origin dating back to 1967, Curtin University is an Australian public research university known for its immersive learning approaches, high-impact research, and successful industry partnerships. The University changed its name from Curtin University of Technology to Curtin University in 2010 to reflect its evolution from an Institution of applied technology to a full-fledge University - focused on research and with a wide breadth of offerings.
Curtin University currently houses over 50,000 students, with 6,061 International students studying onshore and 7,271 offshore. Faculties are the primary academic divisions of the University where teaching and research are conducted, divided into five discipline based study areas including Centre for Aboriginal Studies, Faculty of Business and Law, Health Sciences, Humanities, and Science and Engineering. Over 100 courses are offered in applied, practical subjects with a strong emphasis on industry links and international, cultural and indigenous awareness.
