Accommodation in HKU is managed by CEDARS Housing, offering four main types of housing:

• Residential Halls
• Residential Colleges
• Non-hall Housing
• Off-campus Housing (University-rented and Privately Rented)

Due to a shortage in housing resources, students are strongly advised to apply for accommodation as soon as possible. Housing allocation is subject to availability, which is generally higher in the Spring semester than in the Fall semester.
