Our visiting programme is designed for students who are currently enrolled at other universities who wish to take courses at HKU, regardless of whether their home institution has a formal exchange agreement with HKU. With a wide range of courses available across various faculties, you can tailor your academic experience to match your interests and objectives.

• If you are not looking to pursue a full degree programme, you may consider applying as a visiting student to attend courses for one semester or one year of study within a degree, diploma or other curriculum, or to undertake postgraduate research studies or other prescribed studies as determined by the relevant department head.
• If your home institution does not have formal exchange agreement with HKU, you may apply to HKU as visiting student.
