Scholarships for Short-term Study Abroad Programmes

Financial assistance awards are available to full-time undergraduate students participating in in-person short-term study abroad programmes that last for at least 2 weeks. These awards are NOT available for fully virtual or remote programmes.

In order to be considered for these awards, students must register their participation in a recognized short-term programme through our online system. Registration details can be found on our Global Short-term Programmes page.

For all merit-based funding provided by Registry offices in support of study abroad, each student is only eligible to receive a total award amount equal to the largest single award they receive throughout their undergraduate studies. Should a student receive more than one award, they may be required to return the prior award to the University, or receive only a portion of the subsequent award.

General Requirements
  • Currently a full-time undergraduate student;
  • Successful completion of a recognized short-term study abroad programme;
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above as of the semester preceding the study abroad programme;
  • Submission of all required supporting materials (e.g., Confirmation of Arrival, Insurance E-Form, Post-programme Evaluation & Report) by the designated deadlines.
