About the Programme
Founded in 1988, Kwansei Gakuin University is a private, nondenominational Christian university in Kansai, Japan. As a comprehensive higher education institution, Kangaku offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees to 25,000 students in more than 80 disciplines across 14 undergraduate and 14 graduate schools. Academic faculties encompass a diverse range of fields, including humanities, sociology, law and politics, economics, business administration, and science and technology etc.
Renowned as one of the top global universities in Japan, Kangaku hosts over 1,400 international students on campus and maintains partnerships with more than 200 universities across 40 countries. The university offers 2 study tracks for incoming exchange students. The Japanese Language Track, conducted entirely in Japanese, is tailored for students who wish to concentrate on their Japanese Language studies. The Modern Japanese Track is designed for students who wish to primarily seek to learn about Japan via English-taught courses through a range of subjects offered by the university's faculties. Mandatory courses are offered for each track to support students in achieving their academic goals during exchange.
