National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University – Exchange Programme

Established in 2021, the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University strives transcend disciplinary divides and solve increasingly complex problems that the world faces. NYCU was created through a merger between the National Yang-Ming University and National Chiao Tung University, both top-tier in Taiwan. The former had an extensive focus on biomedical research, while the latter focused on electronic communication. By leveraging the strengths of its two predecessors, the University is able to contribute to fields located at the intersection of the mentioned research areas, including the development of medical applications in AI, telemedicine, medical robots, Internet of Things, wearable devices, and block-chain biomedical Eco-system. This integration also allows NYCU to train its students in a way that does not constrain them within disciplinary boundaries. 

Currently, NYCU has 19 colleges and 74 university/college-level research centres, offering a wide range of courses to over 8,600 undergraduate and 12,200 graduate students on campus.
