About the Programme

One of the most advanced Spanish universities, the University of Alicante is strategically located near Alicante city, capital of a top tourist destination in Spain and Europe. Its beautiful and modern campus was originally founded in 1979 but its origins can be traced back to the University of Orihuela in 1546. Every year about 30,000 students choose to study at our university, and over 4,000 students from all parts of the world get involved in an academically international environment together with their local alumni. The academic and research program has been designed by 2,000 faculty and research members and students may select some of the classes offered in English.

 

The University of Alicante offers more than 50 official degrees in Humanities and Languages, Experimental Sciences and Technology, Social and Legal Sciences, Health Sciences and Education Sciences. It also offers more than 50 master courses and over 30 doctorate programs, specialist and postgraduate courses. Research is an essential part of the UA with 150 research groups and research institutes in Technology, Experimental and Social sciences and Humanities.
