About the Programme

Established in 1881, the University of Nottingham is a public research higher education institute founded with a rich history of dedication to discovery, enterprise, and the advancement of human condition, It is further committed to improving the health and wellbeing of the society as a whole. The university is known for its pioneering research efforts and home to a number of Nobel laureates in medicine, economics, and chemistry. One notable laureate is Sir Clive Granger, who won the Nobel Prize in economics and physics in 2003.

Nottingham has campuses located in three different countries, including four campuses and facilities in the UK, one campus in Ningbo, China, and one in Malaysia. It offers over 300 undergraduate and 310 postgraduate courses over five faculties: Arts, Medicine and Health Sciences, Science, Engineering, and Social Sciences. Placing great value on openness and inclusivity, the university welcomes 34,549 students on its UK campuses, of which 9,589 are international students.
